To turn a party pick into a place card: add a piece of craft paper with the name of the guest, and cut a short strip extending from one end of the name card. Then, wrap the strip tightly around the pick, and secure it firmly with a thin scrap of clear tape.
Stick the picks into chunks of bread, pastries, or desserts (like small cakes, cupcakes, mini pies, and puddings) to mark each place setting.
